Statut : Declared on 22 May 2026 in Mur-de-Barrez (Aveyron). Campaign team presented on 3 September 2026. Since 28 October 2026, he has proposed a “great primary of democrats”. This idea was rejected by the Philippe camp, by the entourage of Bruno Retailleau, by Dominique de Villepin and by Raphaël Glucksmann (franceinfo, CNews, Le JSL, 28 and 29 October 2026). Former government spokesperson, then Minister of National Education, he became the youngest Prime Minister of the Fifth Republic in January 2024, serving until September 2024. He now leads Renaissance and its group of deputies in the National Assembly.
